I decided to go pro in April of 2016. For 4+ years(2008-2012) I did nothing but re-teach myself how to draw using dry media only. This was a skill that, when I went to school at a university level, wasn't a highly prized ability. And so I didn't even pick up a brush again until I had nearly mastered drawing with dry media. From 2012 to 2016 I re-educated myself on how to paint with an impressionist's vison, an expressionist's passion, and a renaissance era discipline. I approach my art business as I would any professional venture; meaning regular hours, setting and meeting short-term as well as long-term goals, meeting deadlines, surpassing clients' expectations, and a generally professional approach.
