A strategy was developed to correct any issues.Job Safety Analysis- Devised a detailed Job Safety Analysis which highlighted the expectations of the position, hazards of the position, expected PPE and how to safely operate the machine. Within the JSA, ergonomic information was included to minimize various injuries.Group Lock-out Policy - Developed a system of machine lock-out policy when more than one employee needed to safely enter into a machine. Policy was in accordance with WorkSafeBC requirements.Emergency Procedures - Identified emergency procedures for plant evacuation, supervisor responsibilities, employee responsibilities and emergency contact numbers.Fall Arrest Rescue Plan - Created procedure for extracting injured personnel in a Fall Arrest scenario and defined three levels of injured personnel.Weekly Safety Crew Talk Topics - Promoted safety in the workplace by writing about a safety topic for weekly presentation to crew.
