Associate Vice President - Information Security
CurrentCurrently fulfilling the Security Officer role for Amsurg. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing a risk and compliance program for Amsurg's 250+ outpatient surgery centers in 34 states. This program also entails collaborating with Senior Management as well as Operations Leadership to align and implement regulatory requirements and IT best practices. Also act as a key contact for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) to determine detailed specifications and acceptance criteria for security and compliance.Recent achievements include:• Lead strategic development and implementation of Amsurg's Risk Assessment tool for ASCs.• Develop and conduct HIPAA security training for ASC leaders and Operational Leadership.• Provide support for risk assessments, risk management plans and services provided by local IT firms.• Lead the development and implementation of tracking tools, dashboards and reports for Senior Management, Operations Leadership and Board of Directors.• Assist with definition and review of Business Associate Agreements for each covered entity within Amsurg.• Act as advocate and primary liaison for the Amsurg's security vision via regular written and in-person communications with Amsurg Senior Management and IT Leadership.
