Network Engineer sent out on short term assignments to install and commission Cisco Network equipment across various Bank of America sites in Europe. Tasks included surveys, configuration, racking, recording inventory information, and being available as a on site contact to help with troubleshooting as equipment became live on the network.

Network Engineer processing 7200 routers, 4500, and 6500 series switches that had been returned for reuse in a Cisco customer testing lab. Tasks were to test chassis components, check line cards, remove any existing configuration and install a common software version. Cisco would then use the switches and routers in lab setting to test customer configuration and various fail-over scenarios.

Worked on a project to scan for and resolve PCI compliance issues on the IHG computer network. PCI compliance is a standard that shows an IT network is suitably secure to handle credit card transactions. Involved a combination of skills from patching Microsoft servers, remotely adjusting printer settings, and altering cisco switch configurations.

Coordinated alterations to the Jaguar Landrover network, that were requested almost on a weekly basis to accommodate the changing needs of production and office allocations.
