As District Manager for the Las Vegas and Los Angeles markets for Life Storage, I oversee 17 self-storage property locations. In addition, I manage commercial retail business tenants including multiple restaurants, a beauty salon, business office tenants and a diverse variety of property and tenant management. Of my 17 store portfolio, I oversee 35 Property Managers who are my direct reports including three Lead Managers who assist me in the daily operations. A highlight in my Life Storage career was the end of year financials for 2015. I was awarded for driving 106.9% to budget on net operating income. My team and I drove the revenue $410,927 positive variance over budget for the year. My 2015 Profit and loss statements display seamless accountability to expense control to budget. In addition, exceeding the total revenue budget by $436,429 positive variance. Every one of my stores generated year on year growth ranging lowest 17% to highest of 32%. I have been responsible for acquiring and rebranding multiple properties. All of my stores have proven to grow in market competitive pricing and occupancy. Most acquired stores range from 75 – 80% unit occupancy pre-acquisition. All of my acquired stores achieved 90 – 95% unit occupancy post Life Storage acquisition.
