My experience through many good and bad markets since starting in 1987 on the trading floor in Montreal will help ensure that a healthy respect for risk is always paramount. Decades of trading profitably for my own account ensures that performance, not accumulating customers for the sole purpose of parking their money for a fee, remains the ultimate goal. ******More about my experience:I have over 3 decades experience as a veteran trader focusing on the North American markets, with 23 years experience as a proprietary trader and market maker. In 1987, I started on the Montreal Stock Exchange floor which allowed me to acquire a vast amount of knowledge and experience from highly successful traders. I have represented several brokerage prominent firms over the years, thus accumulating even more experience and confidence in equities, options and futures. Experienced as a proprietary trader, my goals have always been to achieve a positive monthly return in all market conditions. My forte includes identifying low risk trades in equities, warrants, rights, convertible securities, options and ETFs as hedges. In active retail markets, I have done very well but I excel in the worst of selling panics - making some of my biggest trades when everyone else is losing their shirts. I am passionate about the investing industry as a whole and continue learning and applying new strategies for wealth and achieving financial goals while keeping risk control as the primary goal. I, like yourself, do not like to lose sleep over my investments.
