As the Vice President of Education, Publications and Quality at The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), I lead the strategic direction and implementation of the programs and services that advance the knowledge, skills, and quality of care of our 5,000 members and the broader cardiovascular community. With over 20 years of management experience in medical societies, I have developed a passion and expertise for creating and delivering high-impact and evidence-based educational and scientific content across multiple platforms and formats.My mission is to improve global public and environmental health, and to promote scientific and economic development, through effective and engaging education and communication. I have a strong background in biology, with a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan, and I have published multiple articles on educational interventions and outcomes. I have also acquired skills in performance motivation, change management, and nonprofit leadership, and I have fostered a culture of innovation and collaboration among staff and members. I am fluent in Fijian and French, and I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures and perspectives.
