Hello,My extensive background in both public works and private sector property management, coupled with professional expertise in maintenance and construction, has equipped me with a proven track record in project management. In my current position, I oversee enhancement initiatives spanning five city-owned service centers and downtown facilities. Collaborating closely with more than 20 City of Phoenix departments, I work under the Property Manager to ensure the safety, compliance, and functionality of all facilities through improvement projects, repairs, and routine maintenance. My daily responsibilities involve facilitating communication between Property Management, stakeholders, and tenants, fostering a high level of engagement. Additionally, I develop project blueprints, define scopes of work, create project schedules, and devise maintenance strategies in alignment with business plans for property managers, deputy directors, and assistant directors. I manage operational budgets and consistently advocate and secure additional project funding, including the recent 2024 Service Center Improvement fund.Apart from my professional background, I also serve as a volunteer leader within the Boy Scouts of America. Specifically, I hold the position of Cub Master for Pack 603. In this capacity, I take charge of planning, budgeting, and engaging with over 50 families. My expertise extends to facilitating training sessions and managing the dynamics of large group meetings.I bring a wealth of maintenance experience from my tenure at various organizations, including the City of Phoenix Public Works Department, the Phoenix Convention Center, the Housing Department, and TriVita Inc. Throughout my career, I have overseen building maintenance in diverse settings, ranging from residential properties to commercial office buildings and warehouses. My skill set encompasses multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, masonry, and asphalt maintenance.I am currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in public administration, which complements my extensive field experience. As you can see from my resume, I continually distinguish myself as a proactive leader by spearheading projects and making independent decisions. I am enthusiastic about contributing my knowledge and experience to the City of Phoenix team while also embracing opportunities for personal growth. My loyalty, strong work ethic, and friendly demeanor drive me to create a positive and memorable experience. Thank you for your time and consideration.Sincerely, Robert Beasley
