Responsible for effective implementation, support, and maintenance of the demand flow replenishment (DFR) process with Trane parts distributors. Facilitate the replenishment process with primary focus on the management and replenishment of inventory planning for the distributors. Review and release weekly stock orders to various company owned and franchise parts distributors by reviewing past demand and forecast to ensure correct product and quantities are being ordered maintaining a 92% in stock rate.Ensure a reasonable replenishment plan through maintaining accurate forecasts. Remove excess demand created by one time orders; keeping the plan in line with overall demand. Make forecast changes by adjusting forecasting methods (weighted avg, moving avg, Winter's multiplicative, etc.) to best fit past demand pattern and seasonality of the parts.Provide comprehensive inventory analysis, including slow-moving and return recommendations for part distributors.Research and resolve issues to ensure effective in-stock rates and all other key inventory metrics at the part distributors.Educate the parts distributor personnel on the various aspects of the DFR program.Collaborate with parts distributor personnel regarding stocking levels (reorder points, stock maximums), adding and removing parts, and the additions of new customer or customer departures.

Manage purchase orders for service parts to approximately 300 internal and external suppliers for Trane Global Parts' distribution center in Southaven, MS. Adjust purchase order quantities, pricing and due dates as needed.Review backlog report and expedite purchase orders to ensure a 97.5% fill rate of customer orders. Delay or cancel purchase orders to minimize inventory costs.Communicate with vendors regarding parts backlog and discuss production schedules and priorities. Analyze backlog report, inventory levels, past demand, forecast, planning and customer orders of various service parts, through the Servigistics planning system, to confirm the correct amount of parts are being purchased.Reconcile various receiving issues due to BOM issues, system issues, incorrect product or incorrect quantities reported by the distribution center.Update order minimums, order multiples, and vendor lead times.Reconcile invoice holds through communication with the vendor, accounts payable, distribution center, and/or by writing off to specific accounting codes.Issue product forecasts to various suppliers.

Forecast sales of various types of furniture through the product lifecycle by analyzing past sales history, seasonality and current demand using Logility forecasting software and Excel spreadsheets.Forecast new product with recommendations of top level management and sales managers, and/or by reviewing past sales of existing products with similar characteristics and price points.Approve or deny product promotions based on inventory levels, production capacity, and product lead time. Make forecast adjustments to ensure the right product is delivered at the right time and place. Adjust past demand by removing excess demand created by one time promotions. Analyze inventory levels, planning, and safety levels across four distribution centers to determine correct amount of product is being purchased to fill customer orders on time and minimize inventory cost. Make transfer recommendations between distribution centers to allocate product correctly.Collaborate and communicate with sales and marketing regarding product placement and projected demand from primary accounts to ensure an accurate forecast.Create, expedite, delay, or divert POs to ensure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time.Forecasting 80+ skus across 5 different locations totaling over 100 million dollars.Created Excel spreadsheets that use regression, exponential smoothing, and moving average models to aid in the forecast analysis process.Plan and adjusts forecasts according to one-time orders and sales promotions.Communicate with overseas offices and vendors in order to help identify and reconcile item issues such as low vendor volume, quality issues, and production schedules. Periodically review product forecasts with top level management and exchange forecasting recommendations.

Support drivers by assessing equipment problems and failures reported by the drivers via phone or satellite communication. Coordinate and provide proper vendors to repair equipment in the most efficient and timely means possible (i.e. road service, tow truck, dealerships). Trouble-shoot minor mechanical and technical problems with tractors and trailers. Track preventive maintenance due for tractors/trailers, and advise drivers when and what type of maintenance is due.Communicate across different departments on the status of company equipment. Issue purchase orders and Comcheks to vendors for work accomplished. Handled an average of 100 calls per 10 hour shift.
