• Responsible for working with suppliers and vendors at different events to ensure that all parties are on the same page in order to create an outstanding experience for the event attendees. This includes both pre-event planning, on-site day of event, and post event review and identification of opportunities for improvement. • Demonstrated excellent communication skills in order to work with, gain knowledge from, and build relationships with people from all types of businesses, which includes food and beverage suppliers, event sponsors, small businesses, restaurants, service suppliers (security, sound, grounds crew, etc.), printing companies, festival production companies, and entertainment professionals. •Developed and executed a social media marketing campaign across multiple platforms (instagram and facebook) that included but was not limited to our event advertisement, community involvement, partner relations, and sponsor awareness. •Created and managed content of our company’s website and social media platforms to ensure consistent posting while generating more awareness of our events, customer engagement, along with maintaining our partner and sponsor relationships. Golf Outing- Adding on-site raffle, provision of a hot breakfast and lunch buffet for event participants, and promotional giveaways.• Responsible for oversight, coordination, and management of the set-up and teardown of Jazz in the Park and the Cathedral Square Market as well as for identifying efficiency issues and correcting them to ensure an efficient set-up and teardown. • Managed and increased loyalty in relationships with partners, vendors, customers, suppliers, and sponsors.
