The linguist contract was responsible for 7,000 US and Afghan employees and valued at over $700mm annually. The highlight of my tour and probably my entire career was being able to serve in combat with my daughter, Kayla, a new Apache helicopter pilot for the 101st Airborne Division. In my previous deployment during 2011 and 2012 I was deployed as the Senior Combat Advisor for the 4th BCT (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division to the Afghan 203rd Corp. I had the opportunity to serve in a wide variety of units: INSCOM, 4th Brigade (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, 101st Airborne Division, 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, 172nd Infantry Brigade, Illinois National Guard and the US Army Reserves. I am now enjoying retirement from the military and focusing on my civilian career as an executive/C-suite leader. -
