Navigation/Port:-Conducting Bridge Watchkeeping, complying with Company Navigational orders and requirements aswel as Captains additional orders. Taking charge of ship’s Tender operations in Anchor Ports and in Ports make sure the ship is properly secured alongside the berth with safe means of access including monitoring gangways. -In Charge of Mooring Operations-Conducting Regular rounds in Port monitoring works around the vessel and ensuring compliance with Port/Company and International Regulation.- Driving tenders in Tender Ports if required.Safety and Compliance:-Carry out Emergency Duties as per Companies Emergency Response Organisation (Last position held was 2nd In charge of Deck Fire Party and First In Charge of Advanve Hose Party)-Assist the Senior First Officer in providing the highest level of safety Training, inductions of newly joined crew.-Assist the Staff Captain by performing LSA Inspections-Ist In Charge of Fast Rescue CraftAdministration Duties:-Complete Official Log Book Part 2-Completing log book entries as required while on watch, including ballast log and entries of Drills/Training section of deck log book.
