1) Coordinated environmental health activities in the Fort Defiance Service Unit. This area covers approximately 3000 square miles with a service population of approximately 26,000 people.2) Conducted comprehensive environmental health surveys (Community Water Systems, Community Lagoon Systems, Head Start Schools, etc.), food service surveys, carbon monoxide investigations, plague investigations, HPS investigations with the Fort Defiance District, and other environmental health activities.3) Acting Safety & Infection Control Officer at the Fort Defiance PHS Indian Hospital from September 1994 to February 1995. Assisted in the investigation of all safety and infection control related issues at the Fort Defiance PHS Indian Hospital. Ensured the Safety and Infection Control Department was prepared for the 1995 Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations survey.

Fort Defiance, Az

1) Conducted comprehensive environmental health surveys (Community Water Systems, Community Lagoon Systems, Head Start Schools, etc.), food service surveys, carbon monoxide investigations, plague investigations, HPS investigations with the Fort Defiance District, and other environmental health activities.2) Participated in all of the Injury Prevention activities within the Fort Defiance Service Unit.3) Recorded and tracked all lab confirmed gastroenteric diseases and injuries in the Fort Defiance Service Unit.

Oak Brook, Illinois

Led and participated in environmental audits of WMI United States operating divisions. Facilities audited included: sanitary landfills and recycling centers; hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities; PCB landfills; hauling divisions; and medical waste incinerators. Responsibilities included: supervising 2 to 5 environmental auditors, interpreting state regulations, managing all on-site auditing activities, preparing audit reports, and insuring timely implementation of all corrective and preventive actions.
