Robert D. Billet is the founder and manager of Billet & Associates, LLC. Bob graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, and received his law degree in 1983 from the Temple University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland in all state and federal courts. He has a Martindale-Hubble AV Preeminent rating.Bob has tried and argued numerous cases and appeals in both state and federal court over 35 years of practice, including over 50 trials, and arguments before the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Supreme Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His practice includes environmental and toxic torts, product liability, general liability, business litigation, liquor liability, construction defects, professional malpractice, municipal and civil rights, trucking and transportation, employment claims, and insurance coverage and bad faith, and business litigation. Bob was lead counsel in the Blue Bell Gulf Litigation, which resulted in a defense verdict in a 50,000-gallon gasoline spill with $121,000,000 in claims after two months of trial in 2007. He is a frequent lecturer on issues of environmental law, insurance coverage, product liability, and bad faith, as well as trial practice. He also sits as a judge pro tempore in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
