I have had the opportunity of working for organizations that presented me with a wide variety of challenges with increased responsibilities. I am a transportation engineer by trade, yet a transportation planner and advocate by passion.I was born and raised in Detroit, which continues to shape my attitude toward planning and my passion to bring positive change to cities around the world. During this time, I also completed several freelance projects in Atlanta with the Upper Westside CID and used ethnographic methods in Florence, Italy towards my work with Japan's NIES.I am now working as a Doctoral Researcher toward a Ph.D. in Urban Planning & Development at the University of Southern California in the Sol Price School of Public Policy. I am focusing on transit planning and modeling, social justice, governance, and urban sociology."It's not just what we do, but why and how we do it, that distinguishes us as Spartans."SPARTANS WILL.
