Missoui National Guard

Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the safe and efficient accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled and aircraft modification maintenance on all assigned airframes. Responsible for performing maintenance test flights for evaluation of AH-64D aircraft discrepancies and systems malfunctions; allocating the organizational and support resources to increase the aviation operational readiness rate and supervision of training for all soldiers involved in aircraft maintenance. Pilots and commands attack and scout helicopters under tactical and non-tactical conditions. Operates aircraft during all types of meteorological conditions during day and night. Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and directing combat attack/scout helicopter operations, joint air attack team operation and indirect fire mission. Participates in anti-armor operations, reconnaissance missions, and combat maneuver operations.

Performed duties as a Test Engineer for AH-64D/E Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) Simulators; worked directly with the Lead System and Software Engineer to create, monitor, and execute a testing plan for all devices. Gathered and analyzed testing requirements to ensure that the LCT sub-systems model actual aircraft performance, as well as generated Deficiency Reports for problem report documentation/resolution. Developed scenarios and implemented procedures to verify system fidelity and accuracy while maintaining test logs and preparing test reports. Conducted testing of the device with the customer and assisted in the development of the new Acceptance Test Procedure sections to validate new capability of the crew trainers. An example would be developing an acceptance test procedure for LINK 16 capability being added to AH-64E V4. Experienced with complete software development life cycle from requirements analysis through integration, test and sell-off to the customer. Most recently as lead test engineer for AH-64D V13.3 upgrade. Selected to be team Technical Lead Engineer (TLE).
