Goodman Fielder is one of the largest listed consumer food producers and suppliers across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region, with a portfolio of iconic, most trusted food brands. The Hemmant Site manufactures 360000 units of Garlic bread per week and distributes over 18 million units of Garlic bread (3PL) nationally and internationally. The site has 80 employees and operates a variety of rosters to ensure consumer demands are metResponsibilities: *7 Direct reports, all of which are functional department Managers and a total site employee base of around 80 employees. *Day to Day responsibilities of managing a successful facility including Payroll, People Development and Succession Planning, Performance Management, Change, Capital and Project Management, Multi-Functional Relationship Building and Maintaining, Reporting and Driving Success through Business Planning. *Monitoring of KPI’s and project WIG’s and sourcing solutions to enable a positive changes when needed *Re-negotiated waste contracts to generate revenue from waste rather than paying for removal. *Re-negotiated the lease agreement for the car park hardstand saving the business $250,000 PA . *Currently involved in Capital Projects and projection planning for CY17 and beyond to ensure stability and success for the site. These plans over the next 3 years will see investment of approx $10M and will yield a site labour reduction of around 60% through Automation. *Develop and execute all strategic plans including determination of KPI’s, annual Business plan and embed these into performance plans for the 7 direct and 5 indirect senior leadership team and monitor progress systematically *KPI Ownership: SIFR (Safety), energy and water consumption, waste generation (environment), customer complaints, BRC/WQA compliance (Quality), Manufacturing cost per unit (Cost), Overall Equipment Efficiency (Efficiency), Deliver in Full (DIF – to customer internal and external)
