As a public planner, I have substantial regulatory, environmental impact analysis, grant and administrative background. As a property manager, I have been responsible for millions of sq. feet of commercial and residential space. As a business manager, I have developed my own leased properties, consulted with clients and over seen the construction of hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial and industrial space.As Community Development Director in Stonington and later for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation I have managed development from planning, permitting, mitigation, operational and financial points of view. Financial management impact analysis of projects is particular strength I will bring to any position.On a Planning level I prepared the documents for the Stonington Plan of Development and subsequent regulations, I based the plan on environmental characteristics of the physical and cultural environment.At Mashantucket I directed five operational departments with 95 employees, including directors, technicians and planners.Oversight, required personnel management and implementation of personnel policies and laws. I prepared departmental budgets and managed operational budgets implementation and expenditures, including contracts for services and supplies totaling over $20 million.
