Director of Community Development and Property Management (2008- present) Directs four operational departments with 95 employees, including directors, technicians and labors. ▪: Dept of Public Works: including, Landscaping, Fleet Maintenance & Roads ▪ Utility Department including Waste Water Plant and Potable Water Filtration ▪ Housing Department, overseeing 300+ housing units on and off reservation ▪ Facilities Management, maintaining all Tribal buildings, offices, and homes. July 2010 completed 15 MW combined heat & electric generator installation $38 millionDirector of Planning and Community Development: (1991- 2008) Directs planning and community development activity for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe as principal staff to the Tribal Council. • Master Plan (1993 & 1999) including inventory & impact assessment, roads, utilities, • Business Development planning (staff to Economic Development Committee) including US and off shore proposals.• Directs professional staff, and consultants (including over 200 housing sites).• Lead CAD development design team and instituted GIS platforms.• Agency coordination and permitting from Federal, State and local agencies as required, including BIA, EPA, DOT, FWHA CTDEP, ACOE, CTOPM, FEMA, OSHA & local zoning & wetland agencies.• Project and Construction management of housing and community projects including, buildings, roads, parking lots, playgrounds, sewer, water and gas mains. Owner’s representative for projects that have ranged up to $70,000,000 including utilities, buildings, highways & bridges. • MGM Grand at Foxwoods, Casino Expansion Executive Oversight Team ( $700,000,000)• Grant preparation and administration, including, DOE, FEMA, HUD, FmHA, EPA, TEA 21 & BIA
