Northeast District

Directs and manages engineering services as assigned building and facilities within established policies and procedures. Manages to established district engineering budget and assists in the preparation of the Y engineering budget and needs. Plans for short and long range building engineering needs, execution of maintenance needs, building safety programs.

White Bear Area YMCA

• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including boilers, pools, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing
• Implement prevent maintenance program
• Participate in long and short range planning and execution of maintenance needs, building safety programs, and employee training
• Interact with members, staff, and contractors to build and maintain a positive environment

White Bear Area YMCA

• Develop and administer the White Bear Area YMCA’s maintenance budget which has been met or under budget for the last 4 years
• Converted from contractors to an in-house custodial staffing structure while decreasing costs and increasing the cleanliness and appearance of the facility
• Led the Properties and Facilities Dept. to maintain a rolling average Net Promoter Score of 76, which is fourth in the Twin Cities Y
• Coordinated the facility expansion schedule in response to and in anticipation of member needs
• Onsite representative for a $7,000,000 remodel and expansion of the White Bear Area Y
