I formulate plans to improve reliability and decrease interruptions along electrical power lines across ComEd's territory. I conduct field inspections on circuits with repeated vegetation caused outages to prioritize tree work that will improve service to customers. I speak to the public and all types of electrical customers from residential, industrial, commercial and governmental. I served on Safety Committee to proactively improve our safety culture. In 2023 I worked on a pilot project that used LIDAR based circuit maps to target problematic tree species known to cause outages. I worked with a large team ti ground truth species recognition and analyze the accuracy of satellite imagery to identify electrical infrastructure. I also problem solve with the client to make sure there is a balance between preserving trees, electrical safety and reliability. I have a lifetime of experience in tree planting and care. My family has owned a Wisconsin Tree Farm for 60 years. I have many years of experience in tree selection, structural and sanitation pruning and tree maintenance.
