Transitioned back to an in plant role to assist the facility in launching the new line for FCA. Took over production management responsibilities while we stabilize the production floor and develop new processes and implement manufacturing systems.

Johnson Controls has transitioned to Adient and I have made the move to a new opportunity as well. After 4 plus years in the operation group, I have shifted to CI (Continuous Improvement). I felt this would be an excellent opportunity to impact the business on a broader scale and scope. Being part of the positive change and helping others find a voice in the large work space will remain the central focus of my new responsibilities. The move to Magna is an opportunity to continue my growth as a leader and also to be part of a new an exciting project. Their bonded lift gate will become the standard in the industry and being in on the ground floor will open up many opportunities. I am taking a role that is familiar, leading and operation team through development and change. The goal is to stabilize the process and develop the next generation of operations leaders.

This is a JIT environment for the automotive industry. High paced and very exciting. Here I manage several departments, maintenance, production, human resources, IT, materials and quality. The opportunity to realize the business from this level have been a challenge but enjoyable.

This was an excellent experience for me personally and professionally. The manufacturing environment was all customer specific applications of industrial transmissions in a job shop setting. Managing production, part suppliers and logistics was a unique opportunity to learn and develop as a business leader. Understanding and developing many types of relationships and discovering how to integrate those into the growth of the business. I most enjoyed the relationship between the organized labor and business leadership. Negotiations, labor disputes, contracts and day to day operations would be my strength.
