I graduated Illinois College of Optometry in 1981. Have been an employed optometrist in Group practice, self-employed Optometrist in Solo practice and in separate Nursing home practice, employed optometrist in two doctor ophthalmology practice, before joining Prairie Eye Center in February 1997, a multi-sub-specialist ophthalmology and optometry practice. Served as adjunct professor to Southern College of Optometry 2010-2015 while at Prairie Eye Center. Currently employed part-time managing both medical optometry and primary care patient care, including pre- and post-op surgery care, medical eyecare, andcontact lenses.Awards include Past President of Illinois Optometric Association(2008-2009) and Illinois Optometric Association Optometrist of the Year 2018, Service and Leadership Award-Illinois College of Optometry 1981.
