In this position I am responsible for the Cyber Security of several tactical systems.

Responsibilities: Staff Officer for a Security Control Assessor – Validator team. Overseeing a fly away team of up to 10 from multiple contracts performing validation assessments. Creating, updating, and reconciling, assessment schedules. Validating the implementation of NIST 800-53 control sets on up to 25 systems annually. Analyzing the cyber readiness of up to 40 systems annually.  Review policies and procedures for compliance with multiple DoD and federal level requirements. Validating administrative controls are in place using DIACAP, RMF, and CCRI procedures. Performing remote validation of technical and documentary artifacts. Crafting assessment reports including findings, rationales, recommendations, and references.  Performing Map and Gap analysis. Performing Quality Assurance reviews of technical presentations and reports. Providing risk recommendations. Designing templates, documentation, presentations, and SOPs for a SCA-V team. Automating and streamlining Assess and Authorize validation processes. Briefing senior leadership on identified vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation efforts.Tools Used:Army TdB, EMASS, Windows Office suite, GOTS Products, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253Previous positions:Policy AnalystProtect AnalystSenior Network AnalystNetwork Analyst
