Worked with Denver’s community based organizations (CBO’s) and Signal Behavioral Health Substance Abuse Provider Network on capacity building and program enhancement with treatment, intervention, prevention programs. As Clinic manager of this community-based health and substance use clinic, I clinical supervised master level clinicians, nurse practitioners, a psychiatrist, and a program assistant. coordinated all admissions and all processes related to medical scheduling of patients living with HIV/Aids. As the infectious disease coordinator I worked on agency policies and procedures related to treatment and professional development of clinical staff.Duties included participation of the admissions and discharge process, supervision of 14 treatment staff and 3 therapists, treatment plan reviews, insuring quality of treatment programs and compliance with state regulations. Developed and administered fiscal and budgetary management reports. Maintained agency client census, liaison to the county department of human services and worked closely with the child welfare cases and youth courts.
