As Principal of a large secondary school in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia I developed a strong interest in global education. In addition to hosting international students and educators from all over the world, I believed in the importance of having Canadian students and staff travel abroad to experience the geography, language and culture of other countries. Upon retirement I have had the opportunity to continue with this interest through international student recruitment, as a B.C. Offshore School Inspector and as a certified B.C. Offshore School Consultant. Recently I have taken on the role of ‘Superintendent’ at the British Columbia Canadian International School in Cairo, Egypt.
