I am 27 years of age and have been working from the age of 14. I have worked as a assistant kitchen manager and acted as a bar manager from my years of working at my local Wetherspoons. My duties included, opening and closing premises, cash handling, wages, writing out rotas, food and drink ordering, in house audits/stock take, running shifts, managing staff and hiring and many more duties. I have also held a job as a duty manager for a local co-op where my duties where as listed above. I currently work as a painter and decorator, and have been qualified for a number of years now. I have just over 5 years site experience where I have learnt a awful lot but I feel like I can’t learn anything more in the position I currently hold. My duties on site range from painting and decorating plots from start to finish, managing the work force on site, acting as a finishing foreman, orders, supervising the painting side on sites, working closely with over trades to ensure we are working as efficiently as possible to keep in line with the tight schedules and programmes on sites. I would like a job that is challenging and has great career progression.
