Shift Manager.
CurrentPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES1.Lead a production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures to produce product to required standards. 2.Responsible for managing the shift to meet production goals and key performance indicators.3.Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that occur during the shift to ensure that the line is operational4.Recruit, train and coach production line employees to ensure they are fully effective.5.Conduct employee performance reviews, manage performance and actively manage underperformance.6.Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.7.Coordinate production start up’s, shutdowns, and changeovers.8.Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.9.Schedule and conduct shift meetings.10.Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.11.Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).12.Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Manager.13.Ensure a Clean and safe work area.14.Complete shift administration15.Assist in production as necessary.16.Other duties as assigned.
