I worked with private sector businesses and public sector institutions aiding them in building compliance and risk management programs for cryptocurrency as a new asset class. I built from the ground up and led a 30-person global team building data analytic tools to examine billions of crypto transactions and mapping them to illicit categorical and legitimate uses. This ground up review uses multiple data sources and in-depth review of on and off chain data and intelligence. I focused the team by hiring persons with multi-linguistic abilities, and cultural diversity through APAC/EMEA and the Americas who research different data sources to create product and understanding of this complex asset class.• Lead Chainalysis development of new analytic tools to guide data driven decisions in the largest crypto-analytic global company valued at $8 billion.• Developed international global response to AML and CFT issues involving cryptocurrency• Increased Chainalysis’ dataset over 300% since my position was created.
