As a child, I wanted to become David Bowie. As a student, teaching marketing or business economics was my ambition. Now I have over 20 years of proven experience and success in finding and implementing innovative solutions to strategic issues in marketing, hybrid customer service, sales, organisational design, team development and management. I retained something from both ambitions. As a teacher, you help individuals and teams develop themselves. David Bowie said "It's a lot more fun progressing than looking back." Agreed!I get energy from solving complex issues. Getting to the bottom of a problem to convince all of challenges ahead and the need to address them. Data analysis for a shared understanding of facts. Learning from knowledge and experience of relevant stakeholders. Listening to other opinions and looking from different perspectives. Identifying what parties involved agree on, or helping them to understand why they differ. Developing scenarios and assess them for impact. Creating a roadmap and realizing implementation. For different challenges for different products and customer groups and in different business units, I have proven that I simplify problems, identify challenges and manage to win people for the solution and motivate them to contribute. Why? Because a solution I propose is always based on both achieving business objectives and a clear storyline for all involved. Why does this give me energy? Because I see new challenges every time. Because I meet new people every time. Because I help improve teams, improve processes and help people improve themselves. In the process, I also learn a lot myself and more about myself. I am seen as result-driven, an independent thinker and an inspiring speaker and listener. I have gained experience in education, publishing, telecom (KPN), insurance (NN) and retail banking (ING).Interests: Customer behavior | Marketing & Sales | Digital & Human | Strategy & Change | Sign(s) Of The Times I am married to Isabel.
