Robert Borg, Eur.Ing., B.Mech.Eng.(Hons)., 56 years old, and CEO of Rapco Ltd.A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malta and a member of the Chamber of Professional Engineers since 1986 , furthered his professional career in polymer & processing technology. Has also lectured on a part-time basis on this same subject at the University of Malta for 4 years, upto the year 2000. Worked for ten years with a world-class international manufacturing company, holding several key senior managerial positions including that of Senior Manager-Engineering, overseeing 5 technical departments, and project managing several milestone expansion projects. Furthermore, his technical acumen in design & polymer technology was occasionally used to support the company's international sales force during critical customer-facing meetings.In 1998, founded RAPCO Ltd. (www.rapcogroup.com) , achieving year after year market penetration and growth through focused & methodical approach. Nowadays RAPCO represents a number of world-leading chemical & polymer companies, and is nowadays considered to be a leading distributor of polymers & a benchmark in technical services to the local polymer processing industry, with a customer base spanning various industry sectors : automotive, Electrical & Electronic, food packaging, pharma-packaging, medical delivery systems, and luxury packaging.
