I have been a premium finance professional since I started in the industry in 1997. Since that time I have spent time in all areas of the premium finance business including sales and marketing, loan origination and approval, customer service, and a fairly long tenure in credit and compliance. As the credit and compliance manager at Standard Funding I was responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulatory institutions of fifty state regulatory authorities, including review of annual compliance reports and preparing and organizing for state regulatory examinations and audits. As a wholly owned subsidiary of a state licensed banking institution I also gained a familiarity and understanding of various banking provisions and regulations. Since the asset sale of Standard Funding to BankDirect Capital Finance, I have been involved in the operations of our New York office including the management of the newly created Customer Service Department, inclusive of our cancellation prevention Portfolio Managment group. I specialize in analyzing and recommending operational changes, the creation and adaptation of specialized additions to loan documents, advising on regulatory interpretations and completing detailed credit reviews and analysis.
