I was one of three Canadian employee's to be hired by Flying J when they acquired part of the Shell network. I was hired as a general manager for the Prince George location and within a year I was promoted to Assistant District Manager and was transferred to Regina Saskatchewan.Within this role I was responsible for 12 locations. My role was to insure the locations were adhering to sales targets as well as c-store, restaurant and deli execution. I was also introduced to all aspects of the loyalty program and saw first hand how this program has a large impact on sales and customer loyalty.

As the retail manager I was responsible for all aspects of the retail business as well as card lock fuel sales. This was an entry level position which I managed my way up to be responsible for several card lock and retail locations.
