I think I’m an unusual mix of talents and skills and experiences, that make me a very good candidate to train and get up and running as soon as possible. A Master’s Degree in Interior Architectural Design. A lifetime of creating Art and managing artists as an Art Director in Television and Film. A world traveler, and like most artists, I have a great eye for color, space, and proportion. When we go into someone’s home or business, we need to be able to quickly analyze the givens and share the solutions. As a designer my use of color and novel shapes and combinations of materials made me an Emmy Award Winning Set Designer. Okay so I have artistic skills. So what! How does that translate into selling art. I believe that a person considering buying art needs to feel confident, that besides its being unique and beautiful, its perceived value must feel legitimate. This would be my responsibility to explain to them in a passive manner the quality and special uniqueness of the Art pieces under consideration. I know that this won’t happen day one, this takes time to study and fully understand the nuances that a specific Gallery has developed.
