Robert entered public service over twenty-seven years ago with Employment Security Department. He joined Washington Service Corps in 2006 bringing with him a wealth of employment and training experience as well as private sector experience working as a TQM front-line production supervisor with Weyerhaeuser Paper Company. Robert has 20 years of experience with Washington Service Corps (WSC), most recently working as the Lead Performance Measurement & Evaluation Coordinator providing quality performance measurement consultation and technical assistance to unit staff and to a vast statewide network of over 300 non-profit and governmental partner agencies across the state of Washington. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Oregon State University. He holds a Master’s of Arts degree from Bastyr University in Applied Behavior Science with an emphasis on Systems Theory, counseling, coaching and leadership development. he holds a Certificate in Nonprofit and National Service Management from the University of Washington, Evans School of Public Affairs.Robert enjoys back county hiking, especially exploring the Olympic National Park. Robert strongly believes in work that transforms and engages the community in ways that heal, strengthen and inspire individuals and the systems they inhabit.
