Mr. Bradley serves as Chairman of Bradley, Foster & Sargent, Inc, an investment management firm based in Hartford, Connecticut with approximately $5.3 billion in assets under management, which he co-founded in 1993. He is a Principal and a Portfolio Manager and serves on the Investment Committee. He served on the Board of Governors of the Investment Advisory Association (IAA) for seven years, stepping down in 2016.Previously, Mr. Bradley spent 21 years in the banking industry including 14 years with Citigroup, serving largely in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. In 1985, Rob returned to Boston to found Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. He served as President and CEO of the bank from 1986 through 1992. He graduated from Williams College in 1966. Joining the U.S. Navy directly after graduation, Mr. Bradley served as an officer on the USS Savage (DER-386) for two years and during 1969-1970 with Coastal Division 12 based in Danang, South Vietnam where he was Officer-in-Charge of a Swift Boat and later Operations officer of Coastal Division 12. He received his Masters degree from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in 1971.Mr. Bradley is one of the founders and serves as Chairman of the Board of Boston Trinity Academy, a college preparatory high school of academic excellence established in 2002 that actively recruits a student body reflecting Boston’s richly diverse communities. There are 225 students at Boston Trinity, of whom approximately 70% are from the African-American, Latino and Asian or Asian-American backgrounds. Mr. Bradley is the also Founding Chairman of Massachusetts Family Institute, the leading, pro-family public policy research think tank in the Commonwealth and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Bradley is also the Founding Chairman of the NewBostonPost - a conservative-leaning, Boston-based, online news website established in 2015.
