I have been with the Valley Railroad Company since starting as a Volunteer in 1991, then hiring on full time in 1994 as a Track Apprentice. Since 1998, I have held full responsibility for maintenance, inspection, and compliance of all Track, Crossing, Signal, and Bridge structures on this popular heritage railway that entertains over 190,000 guests annually. As a member of senior management, I also work to conceive and operate all manner of special events for the Company, and am the Production Supervisor for our popular holiday operation. I serve as the Company liaison for matters pertaining to local outreach, and regularly work with our State and Federal regulators on areas of regulatory compliance.
