Senior Landman responsible for all Land-related matters in Big Horn Basin, Permian Basin, Piceance Basin. Includes federal unitization, acquisition/divestiture, contract drafting and analysis, investigation of producing areas for possible acreage additions.

Greater Denver Area

Drilled hundreds of wells in the Wattenberg Field. Began with 318A.e directional wells and evolved into the horizontal world. Special projects work, speaker at training classes, negotiations with working interest owners, contract analysis, drafting documents, working with younger land personnel, etc.

Worked Wattenberg Field for North American Resources, who was bought by PanCanadian, who merged with Alberta Energy to form EnCana. Prior to that I was at Davis Oil, Hallwood, and several small companies between field stints all over the Rockies.

Independent landman working in offices and traveling to BLM offices and courthouses in North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. Bought leases and minerals, ran title and produced ownership reports on fee, federal and BIA lands. Researched and created federal units and communitized areas. Extensive work in BLM case files.
