Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I'm Robert Brandl, a Stevens Alum with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity, with a particular interest in web development. In the fall, I will begin coursework for a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and enhance user experience.With a solid foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript, along with hands-on experience in frameworks like React and Node.js, I am adept at crafting dynamic and intuitive web applications. My academic coursework has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles, allowing me to contribute effectively to diverse projects.I've had the privilege of gaining practical experience through internships, including a Technical Account Management role at Red Hat, where I spearheaded the development of automation scripts and participated in TAM meetings with customers. Additionally, my research internship at the University of Nicosia's Artificial Intelligence Lab allowed me to delve into Machine Learning applications and hone my communication and analytical skills.Recently, I worked on a Senior Design Project focused on enhancing a platform called Digital Coach, where I utilized technologies like React, Next.js, and Firebase to create a seamless user experience.I am actively seeking opportunities to further my career in software development, where I can apply my skills, creativity, and passion for technology to drive innovation and make a positive impact.
