After working for myself my entire adult life, I came to work for Chickasaw Telecom in 2005 after being recruited by a former employee of mine, who now also works for Chickasaw. I feel blessed to work for an exceptional 100+ year old Oklahoma owned company that "does the right thing when nobody's looking." I have been responsible for designing and/or implementing many projects, including a number of multi-million dollar installations. I am just as proud of my smaller installations, and all of my customers know they can contact me any time for assistance and follow-up regardless of whether they have a few APs or a few thousand APs. My specialization is wireless, but I also have a strong background in enterprise routing and switching. I installed and configured the first Cisco controller-based wireless network at the University of Oklahoma, and have since designed and supervised the installation of wireless networks at many well-known Oklahoma institutions across the state, large and small, including many colleges, businesses, and school districts.I have had the honor of designing and migrating a number of moderately-sized school districts' networks from their old flat legacy networks to modern routed networks.I have designed and implemented many challenging wireless deployments, including voice, location tracking, and high density. I have a good track record for troubleshooting challenging network problems, involving wireless, routing, and switching. I am fortunate to be surrounded by truly exceptional network technician co-workers, who I can collaborate with when I need to rapidly solve a problem that a customer is dealing with.

Provide building-wide wireless service, Internet, and managed network services to over 20 tenants in a downtown Norman office building, as well as co-location, web and email hosting. Current clients include several Oklahoma hospitals, oil companies, architectural firms, accounting firms, a legal slip-reporter service, and a number of other smaller companies.

Handled end-user BIOS Upgrades and support worldwide for Phoenix Technologies, Gateway, Micron, Packard-Bell and others. Business grew to peak at $4 million in revenues and 30 full-time employees. Negotiated deals for custom firmware engineering and licensing, and managed development projects for critical firmware used in well-known brands of Automatic Teller Machines and Point of Sale systems;microcomputers used to power seat-back video entertainment systems on aircraft, projected instrumentation displays in rail locomotives, and many other notable projects.Performed schematic capture, PCB layout, built prototypes, and kitted for contract manufacturing of various PC add-in cards, including a custom IDE controller commissioned by a major removable disk media manufacturer to be used by automated media testing machines.

Early subscription-based multi-user online service. Designed and wrote most online software, including multi-user chat and games in Motorola 68000 assembly language. Evolved into servicing then selling high-quality PC compatibles. Evolved into handling Phoenix BIOS end-user upgrades and support worldwide. BIOS operations were split off to new company, Micro Firmware, Inc.
