What do we do?The world of stone is in a new age when it comes to fulfillment – an age of uncertainty and price chaos like never before. Not only must the product meet the normal criteria for beauty, endurance, function and price, it also needs to work around unprecedented shipping delays and restrictions. In many cases, EDA or ETA may take much longer than the pre-announced schedule. This leaves buyers with questions, like whether the quoted price will change at the last minute, or whether the shipping vessel will be routed to a more difficult port. The price can increase up to 40% or 80% from the point of purchase order in just two and a half months. These discrepancies can be incredibly frustrating, and may end up in finger-pointing or all-out war.
