Bobby Brooks joined Northland Capital Markets in December 2023 as a Senior Research Analyst. Previously, he worked at RBC Capital Markets on the US E&Ps team. Prior to that, to showcase his research capabilities, he was active on Seeking Alpha where his articles on small cap companies were often highlighted as top ideas by the website. Bobby leveraged his experience with Seeking Alpha to earn a research internship for a L/S firm. Bobby’s research is focused on energy, multi-industry, and digital marketplace stocks that are under-followed or misunderstood, wide economic moats, catalysts for change, and where secular tailwinds are present in its end-markets. Away from work, Bobby enjoys spending time with his wife and their rescue dog, basketball, learning, sports, sneaker culture, and the outdoors. Bobby, a first-generation college student, earned his BA in Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College along with a Minor in English. During his time at Gustavus, he was a four-year member of the Men’s Basketball team, the Investment Club, and the Finance Club. He maintains the FINRA SIE Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent, and Series 86/87 Research Analyst registrations.
