Reporting to the HR, Communications and S&R Director, I am a member of the affiliates HR Leadership Team, and business partner lead for Australian & New Zealand production operations (viticulture, wine production, supply chain, professional support services and cellar doors), managing a small team of local and remote HR professionals. I am responsible for both strategic and operational support, including playing a leading role for employee relations, talent acquisition and management, employee capability, strategic workforce planning and enabling a high-performance culture.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director Pacific, in this role I was responsible for leading and providing HR generalist support to the Australian Operations functions, contributing to PRW HR objectives and supporting regional HR tasks as well as play a leading role in the Industrial Relations function for the business. As a member of the Australian Operations Management Team, the role also contributed to the development and implementation of the Australian Operations Human Resources strategies, plans and services to meet overall business objectives.

Following DP World Pty Ltd.’s forced sale of their Outer Harbor shipping container operating licence and the expectation of our first child, I made the decision to pursue my Human Resources career within a leading South Australian industry. Ultimately resulting in working in the South Australian Wine Industry securing a functional leadership position within Australian Vintage Ltd (AVL). At the time of employment, AVL was an ASX listed Australian wine company, producing a number of brands (McGuigan, Nepenthe & Tempus Two) along with suppling bulk wine & third-party commercial processing. The business operations included: production (both winery & vineyards), direct retail (cellar doors & ecommerce) and commercial operations to market and sell their products & services (domestically & internationally).Reporting directly to both the CEO and General Counsel, I was responsible for leading the HR function across Australia and the then international sales operations located in UK & Hong Kong. The role encompassed both setting business HR strategy and delivery thereof for a workforce of approximately 600 FTEs and having 2 direct reports.

At time of employment, DP World Adelaide, had the operating rights of the sole shipping container terminal located at Outer Harbor, South Australia.I was promoted into this position as part of a company succession plan & intra company transfer. As the manager of the Human Resources function, I was responsible for leading the management of all HR related matters for the site that encompassing 250+ FTEs (blue & white collar), in a complex industrial setting which operated 24/7 and all year-round. Functional responsibilities included generalist & specialist remits along with workers compensation management. Reporting directly to the General Manager, I was a member of State's leadership team, accountable to drive business performance and set functional strategy.

At time of employment, Coles Group Limited was one of Australia’s largest retail businesses and incorporated such Brands as: TARGET, Coles Supermarkets, Liquorland, KMART, KTAS, Officeworks & Coles Express.As a senior member of the SA Injury Services team I was responsible for effective and efficient management of Worker’s Compensation Claims within all TARGET Stores in the State, as with a group of Coles Supermarkets & Coles Express Service Stations.
