Leading the development of LC/MS analysis techniques for inkjet pen materials and failure modes. High level of experience with HPLC and LC/MS instruments including Bruker maXis HD LC-QTOF, Agilent LC-TOFs, Agilent LC-QTOFs, Agilent LC-IM-QTOF, Waters LC-QTOF, Esquire LC/MS(n) ion trap, and Bruker MALDI TOF for the analysis of inks, adhesives, plastics, and semiconductors for inkjet pen components.Developed an Exact Mass LCMS Library for surfactants, dyes, and plastics leachable compounds using Excel. This library could be applied independent of LCMS instrument vendors.Implemented the GC/MS analytical lab for inkjet pen manufacturing support and failure analysis. Previously lead the development of GC/MS analyses. High level experience in GC/MS techniques including thermal desorption and headspace sample introduction, and GC/AED, and GC/FTIR.Designed the wet chemistry lab for chemical analysis in support of pen manufacturing and failure analysis.Provided LC/MS analytical expertise and training for HP manufacturing hub site labs worldwide, including Singapore, Ireland, Puerto Rico, and in collaborations with outside labs and companies such as the University of Montreal in plastics additives analyses and PNNL with OLED research.

Responsible for all aspects of the Dioxin analytical lab. Setup lab equipment, hired and trained technicians. Developed GC-MS methods for Full congeners PCDD / PCDF in pulp and paper mill matrices. Performed sample preparations and directed GC-MS analyses for PCDD/PCDF collaborative research programs with the Institute of Paper Science and Technology.

Setup lab for Environmental Analyses. Developed Dioxin (TCDD) methods with GC-MS using an HP 5790/5970 bench top quadrupole GC-MS and a Finnigan MAT 8230 double focusing magnetic sector GC-MS.Developed HPLC and GC-FID, ECD methods for the analysis of pharmaceutical compounds.Developed innovative preparative HPLC methods, reverse phase and normal phase, and the equipment for large scale purifications of synthetic peptides.

Responsible for plant operations and personnel on shift manufacturing liquid rocket fuel. Operated several processes; 3000 gal nitro satin reactor, 3000 gal hydrogenation reactor, 12 stage pulse extractor, vacuum concentrator, 24" plate and frame filtration; 3000 gal distillation, John Zink thermal destructor / boiler, and 3000 gal vacuum crystallized.Performed extensive GC-FID analyses throughout the processes.
