Project Manager
As a PROJECT MANAGER, I am the single point of contact for the client regarding all aspects ofconstruction, project specifications and RUS regulations regarding federal grant and loan funds.Responsible for holding the contractors to RUS restriction and requirements, as well as State and Countyrequirements. I oversee the Reconnect I project and our local office in Springfield, MO employing neartwenty individuals, managing their job scope from Easements, Staking, Inspection, Resident supervision,Redlines, As-Builts, daily construction progress.• Build construction contracts based upon construction guidelines set forth with the customer andspecifications of RUS requirements.• Build splicing contracts meeting customer requests and RUS specifications and requirements.• Update and build schematics with routes, cable counts, splicing.• Review weekly activity to ensure construction coverage while maintaining budgetary reduction goals.• Gathers and provides weekly construction status updates to the customer.• Handles daily construction design/redesign field corrections, and ROW concerns.• Implement policies and procedures.• Developed a QA standard for Residents and Inspectors.• Implemented a QA team to help hold contractors accountable, while reenforcing quality designstandards for field personnel.
