Leads a division of 61 subject matter experts responsible for establishing the policies and procedures for 4,300 flying training instructors serving in 26 different type airframes. Oversees flying evaluation boards, flight records program and enlisted aircrew management. Interfaces on a daily basis with other Department of Defense and international staff agencies- Within the past year have produced 32 formal policy guidance documents and issued 30+ critical safety bulletins which resulted in an anticipated 4% reduction in command wide aircraft accident rates. Savings estimated to exceed $6M from prevention of damaged/destroyed equipment.- Redesigned the detection/reporting of operational non-compliance with a newly designed inspection system predicated on standardized checklist usage and improved communication flow to front line supervisors. Last six organizational inspections resulted in zero undetected non-compliance findings and saved $30K in travel expenses!

Synchronized all actions and duties assigned by NATO’s International Security Assistance Force to ensure security, operational oversight and facilities management of a 5,000 person compound representing over 32 nations. Initiated a $26.5M dollar airport refurbishment project and recognized by Marine 4-star general boss as providing “spectacular leadership” in a challenging environment.- Zero coalition lives lost during an entry control point attack due to implementation of monthly compound-wide emergency drill training. Entire camp trained on proper actions, alarm signals and precautions to be taken before and during major enemy attacks.- Led "outside the wire" security and deconflicted massive flying operation in coordination with an international mine removal company to dispose of 2,300 unexploded Russian sub-munitions from the Kabul International Airport.

Assisted in directing operational training requirements for three distinct training syllabi which included training for instructor pilots, fighter pilot fundamentals and remotely piloted aircraft. Managed a $39M annual budget and oversaw the operations of a fleet of 126 aircraft. Responsible for the development and production of Northern Europe’s overall air defense operations, plans, and directives. Incorporated fighters, ground based air defense systems and air surveillance systems into a comprehensive air defense plan. Coordinated the participation of air assets from 7 different NATO Nations into both live and synthetic flying exercises. Led 1st out of area Northern-European live-fly which validated NATO's AF-North ability to deploy.
