I’m a self-employed fibre splicer looking for work. I’m fully kitted out with van, tools, 2 splicers sumitomo 72c+, full chapter 8 and chapter 65 on my van. Currently working in Dundee Scotland on PIA PON builds since June 2023. Worked in North Yorkshire for Openreach on PIA PON Builds. Worked for 10 months with VX Fibre/Birch technical services in Colchester as a jointer working with 567 fibre joints and 288 fibre ODF patch panels. Contract for 9 weeks with VX Fibre in Stoke on Trent building 576 fibre joints and splicing. This was all spine work for a new network. Worked on the Openreach network, alongside NG-Bailey on Multi dwelling units (MDU) project for a year and a half all over the south west of England and South Wales. This included fully installing fibre cables and splicing all internal and external joints. Previous to this I was working in London on a Hyperoptic project installing Cat 5a externally and terminating. I also have 6 months experience in cable pulling. I strive for perfection, neatness and eager to learn new things at all times with my work. I don’t mind working away from home.
