Canada (Overseas Offices In Romania)

This is a Canadian company providing manpower and technical documentation for the training and certification of Control Room Operators at the Cernavoda, Romania CANDU nuclear power plant. The company has been providing services since the start-up of the plant in the mid-1990's, and has recently completely re-designed the CRO training program. The new program follows a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) to facilitate a much more cost effective continuous training and re-certification process, using more student-friendly documentation.

Southwestern Ontario

Managed CBSG business throughout SW Ontario, served as operational liaison for up to 120 clients, conducted QA monitoring and reporting, sourced and hired sub-contractors and company employees, produced daily documentation and feedback to head office via mobile network, provided training and support to assure compliance to company standards of safety and customer service.

Owen Sound Area

Worked as a technician for Bell subsidiary EXPERTECH performing cable splicing and energizing new outside plant facilities primarily in the Owen Sound area.Provided technical services to Rogers during a rebuild of their cable systems from Owen Sound to Wasaga Beach.Provided technical services to Amtelecom (now Eastlink) between Lion's Head and Tobermory, energizing new telephone cable outside plant services in response to CRTC demand for universality of single line services for all telecommunications customers.

Walkerton And Owen Sound Areas

At the time of Bell's major downsizing in the mid-1990's, was working as a cable splicing technician. Had worked in a variety of roles ranging from Central Office and MDF functions, to the growth and restructuring of outside plant in the Walkerton region. During the renewal of the communications network at Bruce Power, performed cable splicing and inside terminal rebuilding throughout the site. Was trained on safety procedures for work in a nuclear power plant environment as well as in a heavy water production facility.
