I have been working in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry before graduating from High School. I started working with the Ministry of the Environment, Utility Operations Branch at Water and Wastewater Treament facilities in St Thomas,Ontario(Elgin Area Water System) and then Amhesrtburg,Ontario Communities since Jun, 1979. In 1995 O.C.W.A. was created by the provincial government and I have been an employee of the agency tio present day. Over the cousre of my career so far, I have had the opprotunity of participating in many different Water and Wastewater services and major environmental emergencies. I participated in the Walkerton, Ontario Water Emergency as an Emergency Response Team member and as of Sept,2010 have been an active O.E.R.T. Team member for the O.C.W.A. Southwest Region's Team. I am actively providing day to day Water and Wastewater Operational, Maintenance, Capital Improvements and Emergency Services to our (OCWA) Clients. My chosen career path is always proving itself to be a contstantly changing and sometimes challenging industry. Despite these challenges, there is always great satisfaction in having the privilage of being able to work together with other OCWA Staff and our Client's to resolve any situation that may confront us. I feel honored and blessed to still be a part of an industry and governement organization(OCWA) that provides essential services to the citizens and shareholders of our province and communities.
