My practice focuses on environmental law and regulation and its intersections with energy and natural resource areas, including coal, natural gas and other, alternative energy areas, real estate development and construction, commercial transactions, litigation, manufacturing, and waste. I counsel clients regarding the acquisition, sale and financing of, and environmental regulation of, natural resource properties and companies, including coal, oil and natural gas companies and/or assets. This includes counseling clients regarding the environmental regulation for Marcellus and Utica Shale exploration, development and production and midstream development. I also counsel clients with regard to the purchase, sale and remediation of brownfields and other environmentally-impacted and environmentally-sensitive properties. Also, as part of my construction practice involving the negotiation of architectural services agreements and construction contracts, I provide counsel to clients concerning the purchase and development of "green" and/or energy efficient buildings.Specialties: LEED Accredited Professional.
