Responsible for the implementation of the Contact Center and BCP for the DIBP contract.Bupa had a contract to supply medical assessment services to clients who wish to have a Visa to remain in Australia. The contract required the implementation of two call centers configured as one virtual center with a closed user group. One part is the call center in Melbourne and the other built in Sydney. In addition there were national State offices where the medical assessments were undertaken and the entire infrastructure had a complete Business Continuity Plan developed and implemented for all the operational elements of the engagement,

The implementation of the Independent Consolidation Program for the NSW State Government with the primary responsibility for the WAN Optimization project.High level reviews by Boston Consulting identified potential savings of $9 million over 5 years with a budget responsibility of $7.1 million.This project entailed the review of network elements and sites and included physical audits and billing reviews. UXC Consulting was engaged to collect, collate and compile data into useful information in the core aspects of the planning and delivery of the eventual solution. The eventual budget spend was $1.84 million with a return on the benefits tracking of $17.1 million. Adjunct evaluations provided 4 ancillary business plans that would have provided an additional $3 million per annum if funding were sourced.

Robert was engaged to deliver several projects under three separate programs including the offshore provisioning of network services to India and Manila, call recording for Contact centres across Australia and both India and the Philippines, creation of a password self-service for the corporate domain and the production of an RFP for ‘Mainframe Services’ worth $4M per annum for 3 years and the eventual platform migration with HPES. With program streams and project budgets that totalled $15M, he delivered to tight timeframes and within budget variances and in one instance with the consolidation of services returned $0.5M of the allocated budget. Major Achievements:-o Implementation of the ‘NICE’ call recording platform across all of Australian Call Centres and also multiple sites in India and the Philippines and included cloud services provision. This included the installation of Alcatel VoIP regional nodes and integration with Cisco Call Manager VoIP platforms. Budget $3.2Mo Migration of major legacy billing platform ‘CASS’ including interfaces to Telstra, AAPT and other Carriers. Budget-$2.8M o Implementation of a document management platform for Optus enterprise ‘Optus Document Management’ based on OpenText with initial 4500 seat licences. Budget- $5.8Mo Integration of separate instance of OpenText operational platform in marketing with external access integration through a DMZo The implementation of a records management platform for the Law Enforcement Liaison Unit (LELU) providing gateway data to State and Federal agencies. Budget-$0.5Mo Establishing support, development and maintenance platforms for NCS and EDS off shoring staff within Australia and in Manila as well as India and including network access via authentication and management platforms. Cloud network services were integrated and interfaced for over 106 enterprise platforms Budget-$4.9M

I was engaged to manage the implementation of CCSE Network Engineering projects primarily in the mobile network areas. I was responsible for the Implementation of Configuration OTAP mobile platform known as OTAP messaging or Device Management Platform. I also applied my extensive experience in Tunnelled backup wireless connection L2TP for failover from ADSL connections and Video streaming for Virgin customers via ECDS Ericsson systems. I worked on major wholesale Service Provider delivery for national retail market chain and major capacity upgrade for SIM configuration platform from 1 Million to 2 Million customers. I successfully implemented the IN host probes for E2E QA and monitoring of KPI conditions. He also negotiated the licence fees applied by Nokia Siemens Networks, (NSN), from their initial application of the Master Services Agreement from $2M to $0 for Virgin Mobile, a subsidiary of Optus.

He worked on Unix platform migration from Dynix NUMA-Q platform to IBM AIX for $28 Billion of assets under management and Hitachi Tagma SAN configuration for IHS platform with 10TB of storage across production and development sites which established a new architecture and the production site relocation to Global Switch, Ultimo. Robert duties included the implementation of MS Sharepoint application across Department of Housing and the restructure of DoH Novell Directory Services (NDS) to reflect Department of Housing changes at HQ.
